Phoenix Transition Society
Prince George, British Columbia, Canada

"Over thirty years of service", established 1974

The Phoenix Transition Society operates a shelter with a supportive environment for Women or Women with their Children in crisis. Although our mandate meets a variety of needs, there is a bridge of commonality as all women are in transition.

We strive for humanitarian and egalitarian ideals. The Phoenix Transition Society believes in the intrinsic worth and dignity of every human being and we are committed to the values of acceptance, self-determination, ending violence against women and children, and to respecting each person's right to individuality.

We believe in the obligation of all people, individually and collectively, to provide resources, services and opportunities to those in need and for the benefit of society as a whole.
